Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Porter Welsh, 58, 1741 N. Meridian St, who died yesterday in an Indianapolis nursing home will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Kirby Mortuary and at 10 a.m. in SS Peter & Paul Cathedral. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Welsh, was the wife of Jack T. Welsh, associated with the Thomas Breen Uniform Company, Chicago who survives. A native of Crawfordsville, she lived in Chicago 20 years before coming to Indianapolis nine years ago. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Welsh was secretary to the Terre Haute, Indianapolis & Easter Traction Co. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Cathedral. - kbz
